While I realize that the winter storm Jupiter caused problems for many people, I still want to say “Thank You”. For our farm, it was wonderful. Rare January moisture, combined with warm temperatures was so welcome.
First we had a bit of ice, but nothing to complain about. The power stayed on.
Then more ice with some snow. And snow with no wind! Unheard of in these parts!
The temperature stayed around 32-34 degrees. Most pleasant for a January snow.
This is good assurance for a great start to our crop growing season and grass season for our livestock. We feel blessed!
