WHERE THE BOYS ARE

20161228_082642

Just as the kitchen is the heart of the home,  the shop is the heart of the farm.  Winter is the time for repairs on the farm, and there are always plenty.  The shop saves us money that we would have to be paying out to someone else.

Behind that door is a world of grease and oil and wrenches and gallons of hand cleaner.

Ahhhh.  That’s Man World right there.

The coffee and the snacks are piled high.  The coffee pot is only washed when it’s time to use it again……no sissies around here.

There is a  female in the shop now though.   Meet Lilly the Shop Dog….melting the hearts of even the toughest mechanics.

I know exactly what you mean. We bought our house for no other reason than the oversized, detached, three car garage that cane with it. That’s where my husband paints cars, works on the quarter midget cars, and our 18 year old son works in his dirt bike. I can’t even park in it! But it’s all good…

Exactly. The guys deserve somewhere to do their work in comfort and enjoy themselves.

Oh, she is so cute! Thankfully we are lucky, you and I, that our men know how to fix stuff!! All stuff!
