Make it your ambition to live a quiet life: you should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders……

So start with cats, dogs and donkeys. Once you earn the respect of animals, you can move up the food chain.

Yes, I think so….. But you left out horses, goats, bunnies, chickens…..oh boy. I’ll be muddling around at the bottom forever. I believe the saying goes : “I’m a better version of myself when I’m with animals.”……..

Animals do bring out the best in me. The other drivers on the highway who insist on talking on their phone while driving just a few inches from my back bumper, not so much!

And the ones crossing the center line coming towards you while going 70. I’ve never had a donkey do that….

“Idle hands are the devil’s tools”

I’ve been saying for years that what’s wrong with the world is no one really works hard anymore, so they’re bored and have to be in everyone else’s business and cause trouble.

Even a bored donkey has to see what you’re up to!

You are exactly right Doug. I can sure tell the difference in my own attitude, also. Thanks!
