CRANING FOR A LOOK

A fall ritual for us is spotting the Sandhill Crane that are in their winter migration.  They have a distinct call that we have heard so often, it automatically makes us look up.  Sandhill Crane are such big birds, it should be easy to get good photos of them.  However, they are also quite elusive, so please forgive my poor picture quality.

I think they are beautiful birds.  I will keep trying for a decent shot!
